Jibe: Search Evolution

CASE STUDY
Jibe: Search Evolution

The Jibe Core is a SASS suite composed of candidate experience products aimed at the enterprise market for employment and recruiting. One of the primary features is the Search and Apply functionality by which a job candidate can search for the most appropriate job to match their skill set and then easily apply

Problem

Create an optimized overhaul of a product that was designed by developers without UX consideration, and thus increase conversions (job applications) on desktop and mobile.

Approach

The team utilized prototyping and user testing to discover a UX solution that minimized friction for the user in the process of searching for and applying to the ideal position. Over several iterations a trick mobile-filtering challenge was solved and a streamlined workflow for users was achieved.

Impact

The revised solution was deployed on numerous client sites leading to an immediate increase in conversions.
